I got married last Sunday in Kissena Park and it was so beautiful
Just one thing I totally forgot - the suncreen!
Even though it only took 2-3 hrs (including getting there and posed pictures afterwards) I burned my back and my shoulders really bad. Nevertheless - what a day.
So, go for sunscreen girls.

Re: advice for outdoor wedding
Good idea! I will be outside all day for photos at OWG and then outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!

Re: advice for outdoor wedding
We had a gorgeous day too for our outside wedding last year! I used my moisturizers with spf and I even put sunscreen and chapsticks in the bathrooms for guests! It's a great tip!

Re: advice for outdoor wedding
I'm a sunscreen FREAK because of this!
I didn't want to wear 'real' sunscreen that day b/c I was terrified I'd smell like sunscreen. I have moisiturizer with SPF in it, so I put that all over my shoulders and arms (and then let it dry!!) before I put my dress on.
Hope your burn is better!! And, most importantly, CONGRATULATIONS, MRS.!!!

Oh YES!! What is a sunburn compared to getting married to the man I love?

Re: advice for outdoor wedding
Yep! I wore sunscreen because I remember an '05 bride posting about getting burned on her wedding day!!! I didn't even get a little red and it was a bright, sunny day at the end of May!

Re: advice for outdoor wedding
Excellent advice!! I did NOT wear any on my arms or shoulders cause it was cloudy and honestly didn't even think of it...and i got fried taking pics on the beach...luckily my airbrush makeup (JN) had SPF 15 so my face didn't cook.
