Ok ladies so I have an issue here. I went for my fitting and they didn't have a bra in my size. (36DDD). I tried it on with a bra too big and one too small. Long story short, I was popping out everywhere I DID not want that at all, so the woman said I should go braless. This is a scary thought to me. I tried it and felt like the dress was falling off of me. The woman said it was in my head because I wasn't used to it. I don't know though. What should I do?

Hmmm...I don't think I would go braless. I was actually thinking about it for my sister's wedding last year but I looked too saggy... I decided to wear a strapless and I'm glad I did. Have you looked at bras in any other places? Maybe try that first. Different stores may have bras that fit you better. Good luck!

Well considering I do not have that problem ( I am having boobies sewed into my dress )
I think if you are not comfortable without one you should def wear one. You wanna be comfy all day. Can you shop around and find one that fits good?

Can't you get one that fits and go back to try it on again? I wouldn't go braless if you do not feel comfortable, and do not listen to them! How do they know if they don't have the dress on themselves?

I feel your pain!! What type of neckline is your dress?? - I have straps on my dress, but they are too skinny to wear a regular bra...I went to Mary's, it is a bra store on Woodbury Road (in Plainview I think) I'm as big as you are and I was really nervous as to what I was going to do...they were really helpful - try them out -

thanks ladies, I will check out my options. I'm just scared to spend the money on one and then not like how it looks! Cross your fingers for it to all work out, or should I say, all stay in!!!!

i wouldn't go bra less... there are plenty of places where you can get a quality bra that will do what you need it to do as well as hold you in all the way to your waist (they're called long-line bras)
Try Bratenders in the city, Great Shapes (they have a Merrick, Roslyn and Woodbury locations) I had a great experience at the one in Merrick
