Advice needed
I didnt want to air dirty laundry but I need help on this subject....
I have a half sister that I've only known for 4-5 years and she is about 19years old (under our 21+ cutoff but that is OK)
My MOH sister feels like our 1/2 sister should be in the wedding but i know this would be a big expense for her that she cant handle (she's in college, etc etc). I may have her be a reader but the reason I'm hesitant is that she hasnt met our dad (long story) and I think it would cause unecessary drama and questions on MY (OUR) day. I see her 1-2x per year for dinner, talk on FB and text but we arent super duper close. She seems excited just to come and said she will definitely be there.
So... they will both be at the wedding and I have to tell him that she will be there and tell him that he needs to figure it out and meet her before because i'm not having THAT either. lol This is a little tough to do, like he should have figured this out 20 years ago LOL.
Meanwhile, my mom keeps asking me if my dad is even coming and who is walking me down the aisle, etc. Leave it alone mom! I'm glad she brought it up once so i thought about not doing the traditional (will probably have my mom & dad walk) but she's asked 3-4 times!
so much for a drama / stress free wedding---- UGH !!
