Advice Needed: Envelopes for STDs??

Need some advice. What is everyone using on their envelopes for save the dates? Are you printing addresses with the computer, making labels,??

Will script print be too formal for these? Thoughts, suggestions?

I printed the addresses right on the envelope in a cute script font. I didn't think it was too formal.

I'm printing clear labels with a script font. I think it'll be fine. I'm printing them this weekend, I'll post pics when they're done if it'll help.

I ordered cute little return address labels and just wrote the guest addresses. The labels had a fall leaf (like our theme) and said Future Mr and Mrs ------. They were a hit

we did post cards so we just typed regular font (times new roman?) onto stickers and it was a PAIN to line it up (especially for unmarried couples with 2 last names!!)

We printed directly on the envelopes.

We wrote the guests addresses and for the return addresses we ordered the stickers

To: Mr and Mrs Smith
123 Oak Lane
Long island, ny 11234


The labels said

Future Mr and Mrs ------
567 Dave Dr
Long islands Ny 11234

We stuck them on the back to help keep the envelope closed.

We had the return addys printed on the back of the envelope, and used a complementary color label to print the mailing addresses. We also included a monogram sticker with our emblem as a seal. This was all vista print. Saving the fancy stuff for the formal invites!
