From my perspective, the bachelor party is the place and time for the guys to hang out, the wedding is a bit different from that. This is, of course, just my opinion...in the end it's your choice.

i agree..we don't plan on inviting everyone with a guest because that stops you from having ppl that you really want so they can bring someone random. We are just going to explain and if someone really wants to...then they can...just be honest.

Re: ADVICE NEEDED: Inviting ('And Guest') for single people
Fh is a Marine and he is inviting some guys from his different units. I am sure not all will come because some still might be stationed out of the country. But we are inviting them all with guests. Most of them are married I think there is only 5 that arent so it isn't that big of a deal. But also like I said I don't know how many of them will come either.
My opinion I think you should invite them all with guests. But if money is really an issue than I would say talk to Fh and see what he thinks is the best decision. He might feel the same way- no guests and just his guy friends.

They all know each other and will have a great time. No need to invite guests.
ETA: If they are married or are in serious relationships then those guys get a plus one.

I am in the same boat, I think I am going to wait till it gets closer to the wedding to make the decision and see if they start dating somone within that time frame. If they aren't serious with anyone by that time I am not going to invite them with a date, they are all Fire Department buddies anyway!

I invited everyone over 21 with a guest. You have to do what works with your budget.

Re: ADVICE NEEDED: Inviting ('And Guest') for single people
honestly most of these guys if they are all over the country will not want to bring a girl if they are just 'dating'.. that means being with them all wknd and if they want to get together with just the guys what are they going to do with the girl they rbought?? you could play it up like that.. dont invite with guests

We are only have singles with guests if they're in a relationship or if they dont know anyone else at the wedding. We cant afford to have everyone bring a guest.

There wont really be a bachelor party for this group of guys.
FH's military friends live all over the country. He will be returning from deployment only a few weeks before our wedding.
So the wedding itself is going to be the primary location for everyone to meet up. They're flying to LI for the weekend and then flying out.
Also, like I said, most are not married and most are actually single.
if most are single then most might just come alone...We have single friends and i am inviting them with and guest and they still are coming alone some of them. Why dont you just have FH ask before you worry about this.
