Try East Coast www.eastcoastband.com You can call Tom Zano (he is one of the band) 631-673-3641. If you book through them directly it is a lot less than booking through a wedding center. I am paying $4300 for a Saturday evening, including 3 pieces for the cocktail hour.

Advice on Bands/Orchestras

We booked the Times Square Orchestra for our May 11, 2002 wedding. But since you mention they are booked for your date, then I will suggest my second choice: Bock & Blu. They have a website, I think but I am not sure, it is www.bockandblu.com I spoke with Rick Traegar. He is so nice and accomodating and they sent me a demo CD. They sound great. They also let you know when they are playing so that you can see them live. Since we are a Saturday afternoon, they required a minimum of 7 players @$625 per player (about $4375). Since the two main people come from CT, they do charge a small amount for traveling, but it wasn't more than like $50-100. Saturday evening minimum is 8 players. I would definitely check them out. They play all over... We would have chosen them but ended up going with Times Square Orchestra because they offered us everything for a few hundred less. Bock & Blu were going to be a little more to have them play for our cocktail hour, like $150 per person, so the cost added up, but it's certainly in your price range. Good Luck.
