Advice on E-Party Entertainment- PLEASE!!

Hey Ladies...

Sorry i haven't been on much...had an interview today and its just been a bit crazy...

I hope all is well with everyone!

So I need a little advice...

We are having the e-party at the Westbury Manor in November....Its a sunday afternoon party, 1-5. At first we were in the smallest room upstairs, we weren't going to do entertainment bec its a small room, we were at max, and they were going to stream in music- but do to some guest list additions (from my parents) we had to move it into the other room upstairs... So the cocktail hour will be in the small room, then dinner and dessert in the bigger room....The bigger room has a dance floor that is obvious and can not be covered and my parents decided we have to have some form of entertainment...

They are leaving it up to me and FH....We were orginally thinking DJ until I spoke with Lauren (LaurenandMike618- i think those are the #s) and she had this man who plays the keyboard and sings for her e-party and said he was great. I spoke to him and he was a sweetheart and would be able to supply us with whatever we wanted for the day. Just background music to singing and dancing...

The price difference is only $150.

I just don't know which way to go...I feel this is turning into a mini-wedding...

btw, we are having an 8pc band for the wedding.

I feel like a dj may be too much maybe?? and this guy may be a little too low key?? I am so undecided

What does everyone think?

Thanks so much ladies!

Sorry this was long!

xxxooo

i would do a dj, and maybe have them mix the music? i think it will still be a dif feel, since you're using a band for your wedding
