I just want to share a little piece of advice to all of you. If you are particular about no children or babies being brought to your shower, PLEASE PLEASE plan a way of your bridesmaids or mother or inlaws to get the word out. My mom is hosting my shower and has had NOTHING but misery from FH's cousins about bringing their babies. My mother even got a harrassing message on her machine from one who wanted to bring her baby and knows she cant. You never know how rude people will be about attending YOUR day until it happens. What was supposed to be something I looked forward to I will never forget all the bull---- my poor mom has been going through. Just thought I would share in hopes of avoiding any problems for someone on this board that I have gone through. Thank you all for listening

Re: Advice on guests and showers
My mom is insists kids should not be at showers (I could care less). She said if anyone tells her they are bringing kids she is going to tell them she is having a stripper there! lol

Re: Advice on guests and showers
I agree. I think that it is a personal decision and one that should be respected. For one, if you allow under 1 year olds then you have to allow toddlers and when all is said an done you could have lots of children. People should respect your Mom's preference Cindy. There is no excuse for being rude to her.
