Advice on Hotel blocks- Inn at Fox Hollow RAVE

I wanted to offer my experience and hope it helps someone out.

I booked my hotel block back in February, yesterday I checked my hotel's website and it appears that weeknights (not including Friday) are being offered at steep discounts- lower than the rate I reserved under my block.

I called the Inn at Fox Hollow and they were wonderful- I received one of my rooms complimentary. This was very gracious of them and I'm so grateful that they did this, they have won my lifelong business.


Any girls with hotel blocks, keep an eye on the rates just in case they go down like this. I didn't expect to see this happen a month before the wedding....but hey, glad I caught it.

The rate for Friday nights (the date my guests are staying) is still higher than my block rate so that was fine and they didn't lower the block rate.

My bridal party and I are staying over the Thursday night before, that as the rate they ended up comping me on.
