Advice on paying - MUST READ

With the drama that just happened to me, I highly recommend paying everything with a credit card. I did and hopefully will get it all back.

I went to pick up a slip yesterday at another bridal shop and another bride was there, she also got ripped off by the same bridal shop as I did.

Her dress was $2,000 and she paid by check. So she is out that money. You can dispute a charge on your card if you did not receive the merchandise. I would think the same thing goes for reception halls and Dj's and all the rest. So no matter what ALWAYS USE A CREDIT CARD.

Excellent advice! And be sure to read all the payment terms and conditions on your receipt and posted in the store.

My final dress payment, if paid by credit card, was due 14 days before the dress was picked up. I timed my payment to the day and actually had to remind them of their own policy b/c she didn't want to take my card (wanted the money in cash!)
