$50 is definitely a reasonable amount. I'm sure she knows that you're trying to save for your own wedding.

$50 should be fine. get her a bucn of the smaller items and make a nice basket of stuff for her. maybe get a few small items that she did not register for that she would like.

$50 is actually my price for showers, unless I'm really close to the person. You should be just fine.

$50 is respectable and very kind of you! Also, maybe you can buy up some smaller items and make a basket, or arrange them in a fun/creative way (since you are a graphic person!) to make it look even bigger/more expensive

also dont trust the registry's 100% sometimes they are not always up to date. i've noticed so many times that things i still see available just arent updated and the bride ends up with 2 or people buy the item some place else.
