I know I should probably post this in the vendor section but I'd rather have input than self promotion. Looking to get a decent band but paying for the wedding ourselves. Don't need a large band but preferably one with a woman in it. Anyone go out looking at cover bands and stuff?

I booked Heart & Soul (a Franklyn Wayne band)-- price was $6700 which I think is pretty reasonable.

Code bleu is $6600 for 4 hrs plus CH - Full House was $5500 I think and Body Heat was $6000
Also heard of Peet Moss and the Fertilizers which I think was $5000

We loved Soul Revival !!!!!! They played our wedding and they were def. one of my favorite vendors They have a great female singer (and male singer too) and I think they are really reasonably priced. FM me if you want more info.

Yea we heard bands run in the 10k+ range but have heard of people spending under 5k getting really good bands. We have a band as the most important thing we book so we want to make sure we hit a home run....

Infinty, a Franklin Wayne band, costs $4,900.00 for four hour reception and piano playing during cocktail hour. They are a six piece band with one female lead singer.
