Jordan is affordable. Most salons carry the designer.

David's Bridal has affordable and nice BM dresses. Also, Alfred Angelo makes some as well. If you find a dress that you like but it's expensive, try contacting Phyllis at gownfind.com. She can save you $$ on the dresses.

If you come into the city, RK Bridal has a deal where you get a 'no frills' price that is the cheapest around.

You have to measure yourself and do alterations elsewhere but sometimes the dresses are $50 less than I've seen anywhere else.

ETA: Burton's in Melville is the second cheapest place around (and they have a cap on alterations!).

gownfind.com. They quoted me $135 for two different Bill Levkoff dresses I saw for $195 in the bridal shop.

If you see a dress you like elsewhere it wouldn't hurt to call RK for a quote either, they are usually less expensive and they have their order forms online.

I ordered my bm's dresses from her. In the stores the cheapest I found the dress was for $198, and phyllis sold it to us for $150....I was soooo glad b/c I didn't want the girls spending too much money!!!!

Impression dresses are very affordable, usually from $90 - $150. They are in a number of salons in Queens and Nassau, sorry I don't know any specific ones.

David's Bridal is very affordable. If you buy your dress there you save an extra 15 percent off. I would see if I work a deal with store that I purchase my dress from. Good luck
