Me and my future hubby are looking for an affordable hall/restuaraunt to have our ceremony and reception in. Could you ladies advise of any competitively priced places?
I know about the Brentwood Country Club, but was looking for something different.

I know that brentwood does packages that include everything and I think Med Manor does as well. It really depends on the amount you want to spend... Swan Club Coral House Jericho terrace

Whats the ideal price per person you're looking to stay around?
The lowest quote I received by far was at the Meadow Club, and that was 64 for a Sat night in November 2009. For a Friday or Sunday I would imagine even less.

Are you interested in package deals? Holiday Inn inPlainview, Ariana Waterfall, and Manor East all have package deals.
Also, you can save money by having your wedding during 'off season' (usually Jan-March). We were quoted very low at Chateau Briand and Fox Hollow for Sat afternoon March weddings!

Chateau La Mer is affordable and you get a lot for your money.

Check out Mill Pond Golf Course (Anthony Matthew Caterers) They are a vendor on the site. They have amazing, food, service and location. The golf course is perfect for great pictures and they have a really nice outside terrace for cocktail hour. The ballroom is also huge, i believe it can hold up to 300 people and it was just all re-done last year. If you need specifis just ask.

I heard sunset harbour is really nice and affodable. I have been there once. It was really nice and food was great!Sunset Harbour
