Hi everybody, I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions of a place I could go to for makeup for the day of the wedding...a salon or something. I'm looking for a reasonably priced place that will still do a great job. I live in Mid-Nassau. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If price is a real issue, go to the mall to your favore counter. see what kinds of options they have.

You can also try Craigslist; my friend found her girl there and it was reasonable. Or try your regular salon.

I'm looking for under $100 for myself. The thing is I'm not really a girly girl with a regular salon usually I just go to the lemon tree or something. That's why I'm asking you guys about good salons to go to because I'm sure somebody out there does have a regular salon that they can recommend

I highly recommend Ciara from All Dolled Up. Her work is amazing and so are her prices! She did my makeup as well as my entire bridal party. Everyone loved her! For the trial you have to go to her, she is located in Queens. But for your wedding day she will come to you.

I have pics of my wedding in my album so you can see what she did.
I am not a makeup girl at all and she did amazing work. I have used her 2x now and it has always been amazing. She also did my sisters makeup and it was incredible. It totally fit her entire look she was goign for and that was with no trial just description the day of.

Another 09 bride reccomended to me. I paid $125 for me and $50 for my girls and free trial.. She did a great job. Andrea makeup

Jan [email protected] / 347-245-9661. She's great and reasonable. She's under $100 with lashes...which she always recommends. She travels too you also... so that save money...and if you have BMs getting make-up to, she'll work with you.

Go to the Macy's/bloomingdales make-up counter the morning of your wedding and have them do it for you for free. Do not tell them it is your wedding day and they will make you look beautiful without you paying tons of money for a make-up artist.

I will prob be using a girl named Rachel (rec to me by an 08 bride who used her)... she charges under $50 for makeup... you have to travel to her in ronkonkoma for the trial but she travels to you on the day of... if you want her number, FM me

I used tori wildeman, and I didn't pay more than $100 (at least I don't remember it being more than that!). She does airbrush, too, and will come to your house.
I had a great experience with Melinda from Melinda Makeup and she came to me. It was $95/pp, including the bride and my trial was $40. I went to her at Blue Mercury, for the trial. Everyone loved the work she did and it lasted all day.
