i hate to put it that way b/c i know many people think it's unwise to 'skimp' on this. however, we are buying a house and paying for most of this wedding ourselves. photographers are so expensive and it's the last thing i have to really book. i've been putting it off! anyway, one more question- do photographers require that they must be present during the WHOLE day? meaning, i really don't want him/her there from the first minute to the last (i know that sounds crazy) ANY info. would be greatly appreciated! thank you!!!!

I also booked Queens Bridal but in Lindenhurst. I brought in quotes from other places and they made sure to beat the price with the same stuff. Good luck!

I am using Mirror Image Photography and he has a package from 895-1500. And his work is GREAT!! Why spend more than that?

duets was the cheapest vidoegrapher and photographer that we went to. the pictures were very nice too

I used VIP -would not recommend them (long story).
My friend got married last weekend and used Artistic Images. He is not mentioned on here very often, but he was great (I was a BM in the wedding) and from what my friend said, very reasonably priced.

wow you guys are great-thank you for the feedback-i seriously don't know how i would have planned a wedding without this site!
Try my photographer. A photojournalist who does excellent work but is also a really nice guy and not a 'studio'. He will def. customize to your needs, and no-he won't require being there all day I'm sure.
