Affordable Room Blocks on North Fork?

Hi.
Does anyone know of any decent hotels at a reasonable price that we can block out east near Raphael Vineyard for June 2012?

Thanks!!

I think your best bet is probably going with a chain hotel in riverhead. I know that there's a Hilton Garden Inn that would probably be a more affordable option.

I LOVE the Harborfront Inn on Main St in Greenport. Really beautiful rooms and great service. However, it's on the pricier side and I think most boutique hotels out on the North Fork will be on the pricier side too.

Best of luck!

There is a BRAND NEW Hyatt attached to the Long Island Aquarium. Also, there a Holiday Inn on route 58. Both are nice.....check 'em out!

holiday inn, hilton garden inn and hotel indigo.

They all quoted be about the same for my block.

Most places over there are going to be on the expensive side in the summer months.

Yeah I'm in love with Raphael Vineyard. Feels really comfortable there! I'm just hoping the food is good there too!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've just called the 4 big chains suggested, they're all about the same price a little more here and there except indigo which was much more. Toss ups between those including breakfast or not.

Do you just do a block in one hotel or in more than one?

Indigo Hotel is gorgeous & reasonable... we live on the south fork, This location is is Riverhead, which isn't too far from the vineyard... & not off the beaten path, so guest will be able to find it easily

We booked the hilton garden inn in riverhead, they started out high, but came down a lot with negotiating

One of my best friends got married at Raphael last summer (LOVED it there and the food was amazing). She actually had her hotel block at Crowne Plaza in Holtsville and had buses to bring everyone to the wedding. I actually booked the same hotel for my wedding and i'm at Giorgio's. the problem that i found is that all the hotels in riverhead increase all their pricing in the summer. cp holtsville is about $139/night if you are wondering.

Do you know who she used to get the buses?

I did Holiday Inn and Indigo. They were both fantastic to work with!

I am using Holiday Inn express in riverhead, it is close by to Rapheals. I think they are reasonably prices. it was 135 a room with a free shuttle bus for every 15 rooms we booked.

I'm using Hotel Indigo, I was able to talk them down and they were the cheapest and the nicest out of the Holiday Inn Express & Hilton Garden Inn.

I'll shoot you another note, I've got a few quotes from some bus companies because I need to shuttle guests from hotel to Giorgio's.
