Afghan Color Scheme?

Afghan Color Scheme?

I'm working on a panel afghan and I can't decide what the color scheme should be. This much I know:

It will be five panels with 2 different colors.

One color is Wheat:

I'm torn between these colors:

Spice:

Claret:

or Plum:

Any suggestions?

P.S. There are no monkeys in any of the patterns I'm using!

Where are you planning on using it? What are the colors of the room?

I like the Spice.

I am a big fan of purple, but I really like the spice with the wheat.

It might be a gift if I don't F it up! And both colors would work for the recipient.

I like the Plum and Spice best... the Claret, looking at it now, makes me throw up a little in my mouth.

I think I'm leaning towards Spice too. If this one doesn't suck out loud, maybe I'll do another one with the Plum!

On the craft board I saw that Julz33 used a hat loom and luuuuuurved it. Maybe you could try that? Unless of course you enjoy looking like the guy who sings the Humpty Dance...

Funny you mention that.... I went to Treasure Island! They had lots of yarn, but not the kind I needed!

I'm hitting up AC Moore's tonight.

OOH!! I taught myself CABLES last night!

It need a new crochet hook. Mine is plastic & way too slippy.

There's a place in Huntington that's good, but it's pricey (well for me because I'm cheap ) It's called The Knitting Corner and it's on New York Ave.

You should check it out! Although I have no idea where you are so it might be a hike!

I'm in Westchester, so yes, Huntington is a hike. That's why I didn't suggest Goldman's Yarn to you yesterday, it is in Scarsdale.

There is also a place by me called Sew Crafty that I want to go into just because of the cheesy name!
