Thanks Ericia. The best thing about the dress is that it cost me only $35.00. I love to bargain shop. I found it on the internet.

Re: AFRICAN-AMERICAN BRIDES
I have to order my invites, find a place to print menus or do it myself, find some napkin rings or make them, and finalize everything else....I'm addicted to the planning....the only sure thing I have stuck to is taking care and pampering me...anyone else?

Re: AFRICAN-AMERICAN BRIDES
My boo-k will be a clutch of black magic roses tied ivory ribbon.
My CP will probably be set of pillar candles with rose petals and votive candles all around
the fg dress is from butterflyxc.com they just came in and they look GREAT in person. I am SO happy with the purchase. Another good thing is that they come with a headpiece
The woman who is designing our invites said that we should have them ordered by the beginning of May at the latest. My bo-k looks alot like this but with roses and stephonitis(sp).

Re: AFRICAN-AMERICAN BRIDES
I have ordered my invitation.I've checked my order on line and they have been placed in the mail on 3-8-04. Can't wait to see them in person. I might even shed a tear or two. I still can't believe that I am getting married. What do you think of them?
Nice invites...Where did you order them from? I still haven't found any that I really like yet.

They are really nice. I feel the same way - I can't believe I'm getting married. Being a bride-to-be is an amazing feeling.

Re: AFRICAN-AMERICAN BRIDES
Congrats to Chris & James!!! Welcome Aboard. I've ordered my invitations from canadianwedding.com If anyone is looking for elegant and inexpensive bridal/bm shoes check out DSW. I've purchased a pair of open toe shoes with a nice heel and I can not believe how comfortable they are. I do not wear heels on a regular, so I was trully impressed with them.
