So ladies....I'm in such a conflict as to what DJ to book. I NEED a DJ that knows how to blend and play everything from kompa---reggae---r&b---old school---and hip hop. I'm African American and FH is Haitan.
I'm worrying about booking a DJ that really does not know how to blend music and get the party going...and KEEPING it going. I would love to know what DJ's my fellow African American brides have booked with and what made you book with them. Were you also worried about booking a DJ as I am???

DH is Haitian. We used Starlight Express and loved them. They were our favorite vendor. My review is up if it helps. Our DJ was Enzo

Re: African American Brides...DJS???
I haven't booked yet, but had a similar question as I am of Jamaican descent and my FH is Ghanaian. The ladies of LIW have been very helpful. So after looking at websites and receiving samples my shortlist is:
* In The Mix * Elegancia * Sound Connections * Starlight Express
Now it is FH's turn to follow-up with them select the winner.
