After careful consideration

My FH and I decided to change the wedding date. We realized we were running out of time and not getting what we wanted. So starting this week I am back on my hunt for a catering hall. We weren't going to go with one originally but I convinced him it's the better choice
Plus the additional time gives me time to get things done the way that I want and not lose so much sleep over it.
Unfourtuantly he isn't so into East Wind, my first choice because of the amount of weddings we have attended there. He wants something different than that. The issue is that East Wind quoted me 53.95 pp originally a month ago when I priced a Feb 07' wedding. I don't know who else will match that price.
Anyone have any suggestions.
I feel so much less stress already! and the good thing is I already have my dress ordered. At least one thing is done!
I will probably stick around on this board and the 07' board. You guys have been so great and so helpful.
I appreciate every single one of you and wish you the best weddings ever!

Good for you guys! You have to do what's right for you! And when you're spending this kind of $$, it's better to get your dream place then just settle! I don't know what your FH means by different, but that's why we chose our hall. It's one wedding at a time, it's brand new, and it's much different than any other place I've been to. I forget the name of the magazine, but there's one out there that only lists reception halls, and you can compare them to each other. It only gives you the info you need to decide whether or not to check the place out. That and LIW is how we found our hall! Good luck and happy planning (again!)!!

Ya know I thought about Patchogue Manor. I was supposed to meet with them (I think) - do you remember the off season price lists?
I did this running around 1x before and just want to check out 2 different places. Tall Grass is one other I am considering and Majestic Gardens.
