Where is everyone going to take their pics after the ceremony? And, did you have to take out permits or pay a fee?
Me and fh haven't even looked into this yet and our wedding is only 3 1/2 months away!!
Oh and if anyone could suggest locations between Mineola and Flushing Meadow Park that would be great

What about near the whitestone bridge?? We might go there. or to old westbury gardens. We haven't decided yet.

as for me, we will be at our RH b/c the grounds are really beautiful, we lucked out with that...but I have heard many girls talk about taking pictures at old westbury gardens...it is gorgeous...is it near your ceremony site at all?

we are doing ours before becuse there is no time between..but we are doing them at the Vanderbilt in Centerport....its GORGEOUS but it was 200 bucks for one location and additional locations are 50 dollars....oh well ;)

wow, i didn't know permits were that expensive... old westbury gardens would be around the area but i feel like soo many people go there, i wouldn't want to have a wait there... hmmm i'm gonna check out some of your sites. thanks!

I am going to take mine at the Queens Botanical Gardens its in Flushing Queens (not too far from flushing meadow park) prices are in the site below.
I'm sorry, I don't know that area. Maybe you can call your RH & they have suggestions?

There are some really pretty parks in Great Neck
And there's the really big park whose name I can't remember in Fresh meadows
Plus the Garden City gazebo

Oh Crap! lol...maybe if you call they an accommodate? especially if you do the $175 the garden is all yours, why would they have a restriction? If you do the $125 thats where you share if with other groups. So weird!
Or if you want to take the drive to LIC and take really nice pics by the water and skyline?
or ally pond park in bayside or Cunningham park in fresh meadows?

Why not the Unisphere at Flushing Meadow Park? There's also the lake at FMP, too
