I booked with Phil! He was the one and only DJ we looked at!

He was recommended by a friend, plus he gets great reviews from the LIW girls.

Definitely check him out!!!

Re: after hours entertainment

This is a post I wrote shortly after my wedding, didn't know how to link it so I'm copying it lol. Wasn't sure if you were interested in band or DJ, but either way you'd be working with Phil.

was just married on 7/25, don't have time for a full review but wanted to rave about my band. I have seen that there aren't as many band reviews as there may be for other types of vendors.

My fiance and I always knew we wanted a band for our wedding. After hearing about 15, we found After Hours. We met with Phil, and basically said that we'd finalize after we heard them live. Well, we went to a showcase a few weeks later and booked them on the spot.

We booked After Hours 2 1/2 years before the wedding. Throughout that entire time, I was in contact with Phil via email. He always answered my questions promptly and never made me feel like we werent a priority to him because the wedding was so far away. We saw them play 3 more times before the wedding, the last showcase at which they played a song they learned specifically for our 1st dance.... which had to be pretty much exact since we had a choreographed routine that we had learned.

We met with Phil a few months before the wedding to finalize songs and whatnot, I also gave him a list of dedications that I had forgotten about until I heard him doing them. Phil nailed every single request I had ever made.

Someone once said to me that she didnt want a band at her wedding because she wanted variety. Let me tell you, I have continued to get compliments about our band. They played swing. They played disco. They played SInatra, Journey, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Justin Timberlake, Ac Dc, just to name a few. There wasnt a genre of music that they didnt play. And they didnt just play these songs- they nailed them and sounded awesome!!!!!!!!!!

The dance floor was packed all night. We pretty much gave Phil free reign as to what types of music to play. Our main request was that since we wanted our reception to be the ultimate dance party for lack of a better term, we didnt want there to be any songs where people would stop dancing because they had never heard it before. Every dance song they played had people screaming along to the lyrics.

If anyone would like more info, feel free to FM me!! But for anyone interested in a band- check them out- very affordable, actually not too much more than some dj quotes we have heard.

yea Phil from After Hours has a band and a dj company. We booked with him. He was absolutely fantastic to work with. very sweet and attentive. his prices were VERY GOOD. he sent us a dvd of previous wedding so we were able to see him in action and make an educated choice about what we wanted at our wedding. love him. cant wait for my wedding.

We booked After Hours Orchestra (the band sector of the entertainment company) immediately. Phil is one of the coolest, most down to earth vendors I've worked with so far. Their prices are great. Their DVD is awesome. I am so excited that they were available for our wedding date.

Are you looking for a DJ or band? They're doing a live showcase on
