Has anyone used After Hours Entertainment at Westbury Manor? I'm debating between them, Body Rock and Bravura. I'm meeting with Phil tomorrow and he's been a little gruff on the phone and through e-mail, so I'm a little antsy. Met with Bravura today and really liked the whole vibe of the company, but they are a bit pricey. I have yet to set up a meeting with Body Rock, though I will probably do that tomorrow. Any thoughts?

Others really liked Phil...I found him gruff, pushy with his own feelings about what should be done rather than what I would want, and honestly a little annoying...But like I said others on here love him....go with your gut...you will have to deal with him throughout the entire process...

Crashing .. I just got married at Westbury Manor and used After Hours. I worked with Phil for the past year and a half and he was nothing short of great and helpful. I had him the night of my wedding as the MC, and he had everyone up on the floor the whole time. I recieved a lot of compliments on my entertainment. FM if you have any questions!

I am using Phil from After Hours. He really loves what he does - I think that's what you might be interpreting as gruff. It took me a while to come to the decision to hire him. Watching videos while in my pi's late at night, I'm not really in the party mood, and the videos seem over the top. But, you have to get yourself psyched and in the moment and suddenly Phil seemed like the natural choice.
The other thing that I took into account was responsiveness. I had contact 4-5 other entertainment companies via email and Phil was the most responsive via email. I can't speak on the phone during work hours and always found it annoying when I would email and vendor and they call back. On the flip side, some vendors don't respond at all! Phil more than met my requirements!
Plus, his prices can't be beat when you start building packages!

I met with Phil and really liked him until I told him I went with another DJ. He got really nasty with me and I just blew it off. I also think you should shop around because his prices aren't the greatest. I got a lot more from the DJ I am using. I HIGHLY recommend Satisfaction Guarantee. I couldn't afford them but my God they are AWESOME!!!

I contacted Phil since I thought it would be a good idea to use an onsite vendor. My first impression with him was not really a good one, he seemed really pushy and I didn't like the way he communicated through email so I decided to go another route. I think it's really up to you and your preferences, I know a lot of girls rave about after hours but personally for me it didn't work out that way.

Getting Married at WM, we talked to After Hours at the showcase, liked them but didn't lve them. Met with Bravura and loved them, but they were a little pricey. We ultimately wound up with WL2P, and they are amazing!!

We are booked with Afterhours and everything has been perfect. Phil is not our MC bc thats not our style, but as someone else said, you can watch videos of theirs on youtube. We watched them and found who would be a perfect fit. We have the general email which is through Phil and we also have our MC's email... So, you dont necessarily have to deal only with him. Bravura is good, but pricey. It all comes down to pickyness over the way someone's personality is (who doesnt have to be your DJ/MC) and budget. Read reviews, watch some videos and then make your decision. Phil was not our style, but we are both extremely happy that we booked with them and that there are so many different MC's in their company to choose from. Good Luck!

Same here...he was our MC at our wedding at BYC. He was amazing, guests are still telling me how great he was. Our dance floor was packed the whole night. He has a very outgoing upbeat personality
