Re: After Hours for tuxes

omg i had the worst experience with them. i was at davids bridal one day and the representative from after hours was there. he went on about how i can get a free grooms tux and father of the bride tux, along with the rest of the bridal party (up to 8 people) at $39.95 each tux, if i give him a $20.00 deposit. of course i figured that it would be a great deal and signed up for it and gave him $20.00 cash. i filled out the paper work and he wrote down that the deposit was in cash. after filling out all the paper work he went on to tell me that if i decided at any time that i did not want to follow through with this offer i can go to After Hours and a full refund of my $20.00 deposit. well when i went home and told my fh he decided that he knew a better place that he has been dealing with and knew that he was going to get a better price at this other tuxedo shop. two days later i went back to After Hours and told them that i am here to get my $20.00 deposit back and they told me that the deposit was unrefundable and that he has no idea why the other gentlemen that was at davids bridal told me that. it wound up right behind me were another two girls that were trying to get their money back and they wouldnt give it to them either. it is the biggest scam ever. to top it all off as i was leaving the store there was a whole bridal party that had to be at a wedding in 3 hours and they gave them all the worng tuxes and they werent sized correctly. it seems like this place doesnt know that *** from their elbow....i give this place a failing grade. would not ever do business again. they got my $20.00 that they do not deserve.

I can only speak for the after hours located at Sunrise Mall. FH was in a bridal party 2 years ago, and the completely messed up the groom's and best mans tux.

Re: After Hours for tuxes

i used them and honestly I had no problems everything went fine they even were able to order us a new tux 2 days before the wedding and it came in with no problems. I had heard all teh bad reviews about them but I had two groomsmen in florida, two in nj and my groom was by me so i needed a place that was convenient to them all. So i figured lets try it, i was expecting something to go wrong and i was so happy when everything went perfectly. I was even shocked that tehy could order me another tux for my brother in law two days before the wedding with no problems. So i had a great expreience but i know there have been a lot of bad reviews.

Re: After Hours for tuxes

Well my FH was in a wedding not too long ago and they used after hours. My FH tux came in on time the correct size and everything no probelms. The wedding was out of state and we were also able to bring it back to the after hours in that state no probelm so we did'nt have to lug it back on the plane. All and all a good experience.

I am useing them for my wedding and I signed the deal and gave a $20 dollar deposit and they made me aware when I signed it that it was non-refundable and I was o.k. with that because I knew I definately wanted to use them. MY FH, and Fathers tux is free and all the groomsmen got 10 off each tux and the ringbearer tux is only $39.95. And keep in mind they are all namebrand Tommy Hilfiger Tuxes.

Good luck with whoever you choose
