I was wondering how many of you that are having an afternoon wedding are going to have an after-party that night. What are you planning to do? We want to do something low-key but fun for OOT guests and close family. Our wedding is Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions?

We are drinking, pretty much bar hopping, after our reception in the afternoon. We are going to stay in the bridal suite for a little while so that guests can come up there for awhile before we all go out. You could go to a bar/restaurant, or maybe have some kind of after party at a park, or someone's house.

yeah we will probably have an after party at our own house that we will hopefully have by the time the wedding comes around - if we don't - we're not sure yet!

we are looking for ideas also. we have an early reception with alot of out of town guests also im thinking to go back to someone house and relax there for a while or go to lounge or something

FH and I are going right to the hotel but my parents are having an after party at the house for whoever wants to go back there.

I think we might have a little party either at my parents or at FH's apartment, which is walking distance from downtown port jeff.

My family and my FH's family are pretty much partiers.. So my reception ends at 6pm so afterwards my FMIL is having a huge party at her house.. Plus we are renting a party bus so that way NO ONE drives home..

Our RH has a bar in it if we choose to stay later.. BUT the reception will be ENDING at 1AM so it's already going to be a suuuuper long day, I wont be surprised if we end up just leaving after the reception!

Our reception will end about 6pm so we are going back to the hotel and party up with the bridal party and OOTers

I have a bus that will be picking guests up at my house and delivering them to the reception site. After the reception it will be bringing them back to my house where there will be burgers, dogs and inordinate amounts of alcohol and chips.
We are only staying for an hour or so before taking off for Montauk Manor for our wedding night.
Guests will be welcome to stay as long as they need/want. MY FSIL and the BM (they are dating) will be spending the night there to moniter the goings on.
