since our wedding is an afternoon one, I know FH's family will want an afterparty. I may book something at a local place w a bar.

Our wedding ends and midnight and the bar at the hotel closes at 2. I thought, Oh good, we can continue the party for a little bit! FH said, nah screw that, I wanna go back to the room and do the you know what! And I can tell you from the past 2 wedding I went to at midnight-12:30 all the guest were like Goodnight! And I think the only people who stayed up were some of the BP.

we are having the after party at the hotel their bar stays opened until 4am which worked out good because my reception is not over until 1230am

We're renting out a conference room in the hotel we blocked rooms at and we're catering in finger foods.

@ the hotel room...probably order snacks ask the bridal party to do a midnight room for goodies and stuff - they have to entertain us since we can't fall asleep or we'll miss our flight

hotel. They said they will stay open later. I would ask your hotel if they can stay open longer.

Whoever wants to will just go to the bar in the hotel afterwards...wedding ends at 8pm so there's plenty of time to party.

I am having one! The Woodlands has a bar in a diff room so the party will be there. It will be open bar and bar food will be available.

we thought we could do this but were told in March we couldn't!!!
SO now we're having a party bus coming as an after party for those that want to continue.

I already planned a 5.5 hour event with free food, drinks and dancing....isn't that enough???

My after party will be in my hotel room with my husband. HUBBA HUBBA
