My fiance and I are getting married in October 2015 at Giorgio's...we are having a day wedding and would like to continue the party after. Our wedding is from 12-5:30pm. One idea was to go to the vineyards but I don't know how late they are open and if it is a suitable after-party idea...help!! I am originally from Long Island and my fiance is from Hampton Bays and is familiar with the area but we are still not sure about what we could do to keep the party going!

idk if I would do a vineyard thing because in october it can get a little chilly at night.. why don't you just do a hotel bar after party-type thing? I would block off rooms at a nice hotel with a nice big bar, and get a ton of food catered in. Then, you can put on your wedding invites that you will be continuing the party at the hotel, so that you will get more people to stay over for the night

Both the Hilton and hotel indigo have a nice bar and outdoor fireplace! That could be nice for after party!

Cooperidge Inn down the road has an outdoor patio and fire pit that would be a great after party.

Thanks!! I was thinking of just having people come to one of the nearby hotels for an after-party kind of thing...I probably have to arrange it with the hotel and get an estimate of how many. Maybe putting it on the invites would be a good idea? thanks for the tips!

Maybe see if the hotel you are using for oot guests has accommodations for you? One of the hotels near my venue offered it as an option.

The hotel we are using for OOT guests offers packages for open bar for after the wedding and the opportunity to keep the bar open for an after party. Maybe contact whatever hotel you are using and see if they offer anything like that. We may do that. It will cut down on people having to drive BC we are providing transportation.
