Are any of you Jericho Terrace brides continuing the party elsewhere after your reception?? If so where? Do the hotels have an option to have an afterparty if the guests are staying there??
I am getting married at Floral terrace, but alot of the girls that are at Jerico terrace are staying where I am. The Wingate Inn. I booked an after party there. It was $100 to keep the bar open an hour after the wedding
Wow. Thats awesome. I was looking into the Wingate. Only thing is, some of my family members made a face about the price for the room. (I was quoted 129 a night in February) Maybe I can negotiate a better price since its in the winter??

I don't know if you can find much cheaper than that. And the place is beautiful. I am paying $159
Theyre just gonna have to deal with it I guess. That way I can throw a small after party there and then they can all go to their rooms. After all, its only one night!
129 really isnt bad. They are charging me 149 I think at the Holiday Inn (which i think is way too much money for a Holiday Inn)
Oh i need to know the same thing. Although my wedding is a Sunday and its over at 530, anyone here having an after party on a Sunday?

we might book rooms at the Garden City Hotel and see if Posh is open afterwards.....FSIL used that hotel a few years ago for her wedding and it was great....I might also try finding a cheaper hotel (if the Garden City is alot) and block rooms there as well for guests who don't want to spend as much money - but I will only do the shuttle from the Garden City Hotel......

I was quoted $199 a room at Garden City Hotel and I couldn't do that to my guests. Wingate is actually beautiful and their suites are awesome
That's really not a bad price. I've paid more for not so nice hotels. It's a new hotel and it's supposed to be beautiful.
i called garden city and the bridal suite was $550 a night and regular rooms were $209 and king rooms were $229.....don't know if FH and I are going to stay there alone or if we should check out the wingate so everyone can be together - i heard that they can keep the bar open which is good because we are definitley looking for a place to party after the wedding.......anyone know what the bridal suite at wingate looks like?? is it good for picture taking?
Wingate Inn has that option, I believe.

I dont think im doing an after party, mine ends at 1:30, although knowing me ill probably want to keep going that night lol.
Ive never been to the wingate but i think that is where im gonna block rooms for my guests. Ive only been to Posh inside the garden city hotel so have no clue about rooms but heard stuff. I would say for guests def book the wingate, if you want you can also block rooms at garden city hotel and just give your guests that option but most are already spending money to come to your wedding so they dont want to spend alot for the hotel.
From what I know the wingate does shuttle service to and from JT so i think it would be a good option for an after party.
