Yesterday my uncle passed away.

It has been a very emotional night/day. & this is just the beginning.

Instead of being happy that I just got engaged, I have to deal with the saddness of my uncle passing & knowing that he won't be at my engagement party or my wedding.

This is a very hard time for my family since he was young and died suddenly.

He went into the hospital for a cough & 2 days later winded up in a coma and had an pneumonia. 3 1/2 weeks later his lungs started bleeding from an infection & he stopped breathing.

This is a tragic loss to our family.

I AM SOOOO SORRY!!!

side note - my close friend got engaged in dec and 3 weeks later in jan her uncle died.. i got engaged in june and 4 weeks later my uncle died!! now you!! weird!!!!!

I am so sorry.
I know how you feel.
right after I got engaged my Dad got sick and died of cancer. 4 months later, his sister died...

I had taken a pic of me in my dress fitting and gave it to my Dad when he was dying in bed. I figured this way he could see. He kept it by his bedside. He also told me how much he liked FH.

Think of the good memories and know he'd want you to be happy and not sad about him...
