are you planning on using your limo company to pick you up after the reception or are you going to have a car service come pick you up? if you are using a car service, please let me know who you are using.....thanks!!

our reception is 2 blocks from home, so we're going to walk (down main st!), and friends will follow to our place and the party to continue!

I'm planning on having a shuttle take people back to the hotel (for whoever decides to book a room with us)
I know some hotels offer shuttle pick up from the wedding, but I don't know the price range yet for that or for a limo company. It's a good idea though!

michele, even if you just want cars to pick you up after the reception and not limos, you may get a better deal thru your limo company since you are already spending a decent amount of $ with them. i'd price it with them - they usually have plain towncars too.

thats a good idea, or just ask your RH for a car service that they would use, one nearby. Nothing you should worry about.

I think we are going to have our limo company come and pick us up and take us to our hotel We do have a choice of getting on the shuttle the hotel provides for us for our after party but I want to make sure all my guests who are drinking have a ride home. I think this is what I plan on doing but it is not written in stone.
Just as the other girls on here said, i would call your limo company and ask them how much they would charge for cars since you are already using them and they may give you a better quote.

I used Royalty Limos and they usually provide a limo to pick you up at the end of the night to take you to your destination. Because I paid for shuttle vans to take guests to the hotel, Dh and I used the van service and asked the Limo to pick us up in the morning and take us home. They changed it for us without a problem.

I didn't use the limo co. we booked b/c they didnt offer it. And my across the street neigbor started driving limos for a co. so we used them and he gave us a great deal, so from Villa Lombardi's to The Inn at Fox Hollow, yes it was only 20 mins, but well worth the extra $!

Our limo company is sending a towncar (or limo...im not sure) to pick us up after the reception. Since we're already paying money for the limos for the rest of the day, they're doing the pick-up for free, but we have to tip the driver.

Our limo company gave us the option of having them pick us up from the reception hall or taking us to the airport when we leave for our honeymoon. Considering that the hotel we are staying at the night of the wedding is about a mile away from our RH, we chose to have them take us to the airport. My parents will be giving us a lift to the hotel. Romantic, huh???

I was going to say that about Royalty as well. I know they picked my sister up at the reception and again for the airport, but she also used to babysit for the owner when we were younger, so who knows! Hopefully, I get the same deal.

We just got into a friends car and drove to the hotel with them... I didn't think it was necessary to pay extra $$ for a limo or car to bring us there. We did get some funny looks from our Maitre'd and Bridal Attendant though
