I am having a Friday night wedding...All of our friends are crazy and want to do something after.....Even tho we are going to be beat--- does anyone have suggestions on what to do after the Reception??
Any ideas would be really helpful... TIA

We rented a meeting room in our hotel for an afterparty. Even if we only stay a short time it's someplace our friends can hang out. Our wedding is on a Sat night and ending at 11:30.

my mom is having an after party at her house. She did the same thing when each of my siblings got married. she gets some coldcuts and some salads and serves beer and soda. who ever wants to continue partying comes and those who are partied out go home.

we're having a DAY wedding on a Saturday and not planning a THING for anyone after our wedding.
when the wedding is over, we want to hop in the limo, head to nyc, and enjoy our honeymoon suite, champage, jacuzzi, rose petals, and chocolates!

We're doing the same thing from 12-4 am, we'll buy some cases (maybe a keg) and also tell people BYOB. At other weddings we've gone to the hotel bar, a local bar, or partied in people's rooms - although that gets tough because the other guests usually complain.
Maybe either rent a room or find a local bar and set up an informal after party.

After my friends wedding a bunch of their friends went back to their hotel with them and just partied there for a little while. I think I will do the same.

I went to a wedding where they rented out a conference room in the hotel and everyone played poker!
Well ... I didn't play ... but my FH did ... and a couple of us girls hung out on the sidelines ...

our RH has a little bar that we can hang at for awhile. But since ours is also on a friday I dont think everyone will last TOO long... maybe 2am TOPS!
see if ur RH has any local hotels or restaurants you can hang at with a cash bar maybe?
