After everyone gets married, where do you plan on living? do you plan on staying on LI or NYC??
pretty much we will live here as long as we can afford it and then buy a house somewhere...
we will be buying my parents house which is in Brooklyn. i want to move to upstate, NY which is where my parents are moving to but FH doesn't want to move there right away.
we would really like to stay on long island, but i feel like we can never afford, so i thnk we may leave here before we even get married. FH is a nurse, and he was thinking about going to school in PA because they pay for you to go to school aand work in their hospital. I thnk we may more to PA.
probably renting something on LI until we can afford to buy a house around here. He likes the area where he lives around (Lynbrook). I don't mind that area but i like south shore nassau. Nothing too far away from the city b/c thats where i work.

We will either live on long island still or queens bc its closer to the city for work. I do want a house on li one day though....
We were looking into PA too. There are some really nice houses and for cheap too around the poconos
i went to see a house about 100 miles out of NYC, would end up being about 30 miles from where my parents have their house. it was only $250,000!!!! the current owner was totally OC & the house was amazing. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, master suite, i think 5 acres, with lake property. too bad FH is an idiot & wont move yet.
it all depends where i will teach!! so but i am not from LI ...i am from queens
staying on LI for now. Renting my childhood home from my parents. Will be here for about 15 years then we're off the island. Only staying to be near FH's son. Once he's old enough, we're gone. Going to spend the next 15 years traveling the country to find our future home. Out of nowhere FH is talking about Texas........help me.

We want to stay in Queens, it's where we both grew up at and we love it here.
Probably moving to PA or CT after the wedding. Not sure how soon after, but we are definitely not staying here. My brother and SIL are moving off LI too, so we'll probably end up looking somewhere close to where they go.

i think i want to move....i can't afford it here and it's only going to get worse (i guess anywhere really though). SC and PA sound good to me
We're going to probably live in Queens... We both have lived here our whole lives and its closest to both of our jobs.
