ive lived in nb my whole life. i wouldnt mind living here forever both fh and my jobs are further out east so we are gonna move out that way eventually.

We are leaving, not so much about the money though, but we are have a vision of where we want to start a family, and it isn't in NY. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Brooklyn gal till I die! But we just want to start our new life in a new place.

We are looking for a condo in bethpage, plainview, levittown, and farmingdale. House if we can....

we just moved into an apartment in my moms house so we'll stay here for a while and hopefully one day buy her house from her. we're in north massapequa right now

As many of you know, I moved off Long Island last year for Fh's job in CT.
All you ladies talk about getting off LI...well I would move back in a heartbeat. Let me be the first to tell you its a different world outside those city limits. Seriously, different lingo, people are strangely very friendly (i know it shouldnt be a bad thing but its creepy) strange things on food (like clams on pizza) O and don't get me started on how I cannot find a decent bagel or pizza. The best pizza is dominos.
There are some plus'...schools are amazing, houses are slightly cheaper but not much. Certain parts of CT are really cheap but I am NOT living in the country, just not doing it.
So really think about it before you move. Its great living with FH but I miss my family terribly each day. And my friends....its really stinks getting a mani/pedi by yourself.
Ok, enough of me giving you ladies my sob story. Just really think about where your moving too before actually doing it.
