After wedding....

HI! im new to this posting site....ive been reading for a while and finally joined!

What is everyone doing after their wedding?? i am looking for ideas! Im getting married on a sunday

i am getting married on a sunday and my reception ends at 12 so know after party hear - unless you are getting married in the afternoon on a sunday i dont' think an after party is a good idea

We're having an afterparty at the hotel. We have our own room, bar and bartender!!

i'm getting married on a sunday too, my reception ends at 11:30 so we're not doing an after party but we're going to do a brunch the next day because we'll have a lot of out of town guests

If people are staying over in the hotel we might have an after party at the bar there....but our wedding is over at 8pm and most people we would party with only live an hour away so they might just go home.

hmm i guess i will survey it with some friends.. our wedding ends at 10 so if we do the hotel i know they have a bar..

Relaxing and spending time with the family. FH told me today that he will get up early the next morning to get me breakfast. (Our hotel has a free breakfast in the lobby)

We are thinking about hosting an after party at the hotel... rent a room, open bar and have casino tables, black jack, roulette, craps...

We'r estill up in the air. We have OOT guests and lots of party people... our recep ends at 1, but knowing the breakdown etc... we won't get back to the hotel until after 2. So we're thinking of changing and meeting some of our party goers at a club nearby... No after party planned yet.

Our hotel search was based on where we could find a hotel bar to rent out. Our reception ends at 11 on the Sun of Labor Day weekend...

Our wedding ends at 5 p.m. on a Sunday, and we fully intend to continue the party at whatever hotel we book. My immediate family will be in from Florida, I'll be off on Monday, and FH's dad owns his own business, so we've got a pretty sweet deal with having the people we're closest to available for the after party

Our wedding party is small, only our two siblings and one friend each. I know my friend will be taking off that Monday so she can stick around for the afterparty too.

We're paying extra for the hotel bar to stay open until 4:00am. This way people can continue on if they'd like. However, they pay for their own drinks at that point
