Jen,

Can you ask what the effect is on night vision? I heard that it makes your vision spotty at night which is not good since I drive at night.

I heard that it is a possible side effect, but in all the people I have spoken with, it isnt an issue.

I dont have the best night vision as it is so I avois driving at night anyway.

It's a big issue for me. I drive a lot and my sister lives in the country, so it gets really really dark at night there. It could mean life or death if my eyes start spotting on a dark country road. Yikes! This is the major reason why I don't think I can get the procedure.

When I worked there, a very few people said that they experienced night glare. And I mean very few.

Lasik was the best gift I ever given myself. I got it done 2 years ago. I went to a Dr. Jeffery Martin in smithtown. Don't shop around for cheap prices. This isn't something that just cause it is cheaper means it's better. Go to people that have been recommended and then do research on them. I picked the doctor I did cause I few people I worked with went to him and some of there friends. Make sure the doctor you go to has the lastest equipment ect. Just remember don't stick your finger in your eye to rub it. Wait a few months to do that. Just follow the directions the doctor gives and you will be fine. This procedure will not fix your night vision though. For example if you see hallows around bright lights like I do they will still be there when everything is done. Check to see about your insurance covering some of it. I have blue cross and they paid $1,000. You can also finance the rest. That is what I did. GOOD LUCK. YOU WILL LOVE IT WHEN IT IS DONE!!!!!
