After you mailed your invites. . .

How many days was it untill you started receiving responses!

Can you tell I'm a little anxious! We just sent them out Saturday! I was thinking we may get an early bird or 2 Thursday, FH thinks Saturday.

I sent mine out on a Saturday too! I got 6 back on Tuesday

You might get a couple tomorrow... but more likely Wednesday. I'm thinking people will receive them tonight and those early birds will put them in the mail tomorrow and you will receive them WEd.

The first response I received was from my parents. Ok, I was living with them at the time and my mom handed me her response!

A couple of friends/neighbors responded the first week, so I bet you start seeing some by the end of the week!

FH's family insists that his parent's be hand delivered but his mom wasn't home this weekend, so I guess there's may be the first response, but I'm not sure when we will go over there.

They really should have let us mail it, it probably would have been quicker.

I also mailed 2 on Wednesday, b/c they are moving this week & i wanted to get it there before the forwarding oder took effect, but they may not send it back right away because of the craziness of moving.

My uncle did say we could put them down for a yes. His daughter is my bridesmaid .

I sent mine out Friday morning and people had already gotten them the next day. I'm thinking I should start seeing them come back tomorrow of Wednesday. People in my family tend to s^ck at sending stuff back on time, so we'll see how many people I need to track down after the RSVP date has passed.

I mailed mine on a Sat and had my first 3 responses on Thurs. It was very exciting.

I got my first response yesterday! It was one of the 2 that I sent out early, On Wednesday. The othrr one I sent early was my BM in the same household, but I didn't get hers yet!

FH says those don't count, because they are not from the main group we mailed.

3 days. We mailed them last Monday and got our first response last Thursday. Probably around Wednesday or Thursday you may receive some responses.

yes-it's very exciting. kept saying, guess what? 3 people are coming to our wedding!
A friend sent me an email yesterday that said where's my invitation? & I didn't get the email, but he got his invite yesterday!

So, I am assuming that other Westchester people got them Monday & that most peopelwill get them today!

I am such a big dork...I prepped two empty tissueboxes and labeled them 'Will attend' and 'regrets' so as they come in, I put them in the box, and mark my list off.
