How many days was it untill you started receiving responses!

Can you tell I'm a little anxious! We just sent them out Saturday! I was thinking we may get an early bird or 2 Thursday, FH thinks Saturday.

I am such a big dork...I prepped two empty tissueboxes and labeled them 'Will attend' and 'regrets' so as they come in, I put them in the box, and mark my list off.

Welcome to the club. . .I have the small box that the response cards & envelopes & reception cards came in & seperated the top & bottom & marked one yes & one no. I paper clipped then envelope to the back & wrote the received dat on it. Then I marked on my list how many were attending & the date.

FH asked why, & I'm not really sure why I need all that info, so I told him its for statistics--I can compare post marks & received dates!

Hey guess what!

I got my first response yesterday! It was one of the 2 that I sent out early, On Wednesday. The othrr one I sent early was my BM in the same household, but I didn't get hers yet!

FH says those don't count, because they are not from the main group we mailed.

Whoooo Hooo... I rush home everyday to look at the responses!

I know- that's gonna be me this week. And we only have 1 key to the mailbox, which I have, so if we have any they will defintely be there when I check! ( and not already upstairs!)

I was like that with my registry when the purchases slowed down.

I just spoke to my mother. She received her invitations yesterday & so did my aunt. My aunt called her to tell her it was beautiful.
I don't know why she didn't call me! I picked it out!

And my mom said my brother took his last night & said he'd think about it & then this morning had it all ready to go & 'said, I thought about it. I guess I'll go'

So I should get his soon!

I got 11 responses today! 22 yes, 0 no. For now that's ok, but I need some nos to be where we want. We invited about 235 and we're hoping for about 185-200 max.
