After you move, who do you need to contact?

I moved to bellmore from Lynbrook, and on the Post office change of address form it says I should contact the IRS and The Social Security Administration. Do i need to contact both of these places and tell them my new address?

yes, especially if you'll be there at least a year.

any magazine subsriptions, or fan club mememberships. the type of mail used to send them doesn't get forwarded.

and anyplace you may receive royalties from, (if it doesn't come quarterly), since by the time you receive your next check, your forwarding order may have expired.

sorry, that was a work vent. . .

The DMV- even though it is still local , you are supposed to change that right away & probably car insurance.

According to the SS website, i only need to send a change of address in if I am getting checks from the SS, and I am not. Also it says that they usually get the new address from the IRS...So I already filled out the form for the IRS and I will mail it tomorrow.

I already changed my liscence address and I changed my insurance so the last two things you mentioned are covered.
