i was tempted to take things off, but some guests that couldn't attend the shower still sent me shower gifts after my shower. so you still might get some stuff inbetween now and your wedding.
I took a lot of things off after my bridal shower.
Check with the place you're registered-I know that a lot of places give you a completion discount--like 15% off of the things that are on your registry that you haven't gotten yet.
im closing mine completely after the shower, i dont maybe its a greek thing but ive never seen anyone bring/send anyting other than money for the wedding
you should leave it on if you want those items if you have a completion program on your registry. I'm sure if someone decides to buy you things off your registry as a wedding gift it wouldn't be a rolling pin
we got rid of ours totally... we're paying for the wedding and would prefer money to help defray costs, hope this sends the message
after the shower i noticed a bunch of random items come off. we decided to take everything else off. i feel bad if it looks greedy and like we are asking for money, but we also don't have any room in our apartment for gifts so we would def prefer to get cash gifts.

I agree, I've never seen anyone buy anything off the registry for the wedding either.
