Afternoon vs. Evening

Afternoon vs. Evening

Hi all,

For invitation purposes....

Do you consider 5:30pm Afternoon or Evening?

Appearently the difference is subjective.

(I am getting marrried in the Winter so it will be dark out)

Just wanted everyones thoughts!

Our cocktail hour starts at 5:30 and we are putting 'evening' on the invitation

My invitation says 6 pm and I put in the evening.

evening..a lot of the venues i looked at said their afternoon weddings were around 12-1pm. I'm scheduled for 6 and that's the evening slot at my RH.

12-5 is Afternoon
3-8 is Twilight
anything after 5 PM is Evening
