I have two girls that im considering for my flowergirl. The only thing is one will be 2 and the other will be 10. Arent those ages too young and too old? Does anyone have a 7 year old I could rent for the day?? lol But seriously, what do you guys think about the ages?

the 10 year old may want to be a jr bridesmaid - maybe you can give her a choice?
but if she wants to do it then both ages are perfect!
mine will be 8 and 6. I have 2 nieces that will be 2 in 2008 and if i didnt have my other girls I would have used them no problem!

My niece Adriana will be almost 6 for my wedding. I think that is a perfect age. She was a flower girl when she was 2 with another 2 year old girl and their Moms had to walk them down the aisle. The other girl ran around the church for the whole ceremony like a lil monster I agree that you may want to ask the 10 year old if she wants to be a Jr BM....she is in the double digits now and that will make her feel more grown up. You can still ask her to exort the lil one but she can wear a lil version of the BM dresses. I would rent out my niece, but she is Priceless

I am having FH nieces as Jr BM - they are both 10.They wanted to be FG's but I think that is to old. I have having my niece who will be 2 1/2 as a FG. I would have her as a Jr BM, she can even walk with the FG JMO

I have 2 flowergirls one will be seven the other will be 6 and the RB will be 3...I think for a 10 yr old a Jr Bm would be a good idea...plus she'll feel like a ' big girl' instead of a baby ...ya know

I think that's a good idea. Keep them both as FGs, they'll steal the show. The older one can help the little one... everyone will love it, and you can tell the older one how important her job is...

My flower girl will be 5 at the time (she's 3 now) and my ring bearer will be 2 (he's only 9 months right now and a little baldie lol)!
I think 2 is fine, but I think maybe you might want to ask the 10 year old if she wants to be a Jr. Bridesmaid. My little cousin will be 7 at the time and she actually wants to be a Jr. Bridesmaid not a flower girl.

Def consider the 10 year old as a jr brides maid (you can leave the decision up to her) but this way she doesn't feel like a 'baby' and you don't feel as if she's too old! But if not it is still a good age.
My girls are going to be 2 going and three and 1 going on 2!!!! (She'll be born in a couple of weeks). If my youngest one is not walking then we'll see but their all cute at any age!!!!
