So I get a text from FH about half an hour ago stating 'my family DOES s-uck' so me being me I'm thinking his dad or his brothers are being jerks again. So I message back whats wrong so he gives me a call at work telling me that one of my Bridesmaids are dropping out of the wedding and is more than sure she wont be in NY for the wedding and can't afford the dress. I'm actually insulted and hurt about this.
I guess I would've taken it with a grain of salt if she had at least called/texted/messaged me. However she did not she text messaged FH and said she's not gonna be in the wedding. I mean seriously!!!!!
What makes me even angrier last year she dropped her vacation to go to his brother's impromptu wedding in south carolina... but apparently that once was enough and her trip to california last week musta cost a fortune....oh wait her parents buy her everything.
Arghhhh!!!!!! Sorry i needed to vent I'm at work and I'm not allowed to scream and throw things publicly.

That's terrible, some people are so inconsiderate!! You're probably better off without her in the bridal party, at least you won't have to worry about her pulling another stunt closer to the wedding

Thats terrible, I'm sorry. Some people dont understand that its a commitment to be in a bridal party and that you are counting on them to be there for you. She's being selfish!! And so rude that she didnt contact you personally. I'm annoyed for you!!!!!

thats rude!! she could have at least called you!!! I'm sorry! Ive been having issues with my bridal party as well. When I asked them to be a part of my party back in '09, only 2 of them were out of the country. Now a year or so later, 1 is pregnant and cant be in it (which is ok, shes 'honorary' bridesmaid) my 2 MOH both got jobs out of the country and are 'flying in' for the wedding and I just found of that my FH's sister got a job in Cali, she moves in June - July. So out of 8 BMs/MOHs only 2 are still in NY/not pregnant. You truly know ur friends and who has ur back when its ur wedding :(
