I don't think so, how else would people know how to get to the church and hall?
Give them everything in one shot!

Not tacky at all!! Think about it, before the days of Map Quest you had to include them.

Re: agree or disagree?
ok, so i am NOT alone in think this is nuts right? we got an invite to a wedding out of state, and the invite went to fh, its his friend. so i just saw the invite itself, not the whole she-bang. so tonight i'm talking to fmil at dinner and she said 'have you heard from so and so with the directions yet?' to my ffil. he says no and i'm like for what. she says for the wedding b/c there was NO direction cards in the invite.
seriously. i have never heard of this before. i know its tacky to only ask for cash gifts and its tacky to put the registry cards in the wedding invite, but no direction cards?? what could possibly be tacky about that??
the bride read in an ettiqute book that its tacky to have direction cards in the wedding invitation. what book this is, who knows.
fh thinks that its for formal weddings, but still if you are from NY and need to go to CT for a wedding, how are you going to know where to go

Re: agree or disagree?
I think it would be really wierd to not include direction cards.........I dont always like using mapquest either b/c sometimes their directions are wierd. FH and i used it to find a restaurant and got completely lost b/c the mapquest directions werent even close to being right

Uh without it noone will know where the heck they are going. And when would they find out if it is not in the invitation???? I thought everyone did that.
Who wants everyone calling you to ask you where they are supposed to go ??? That's tooo much !

Re: agree or disagree?
I thought everyone did that..I already sent mine with directions....its a lot easier for people, instead of making them look it up on map quest
