Ah... the age old question

Ah... the age old question

I keep going back and forth and probably will continue to do so until the morning of the wedding lol.

I haven't been able to schedule a trial yet because I don't live on the island.

I like updos because I feel like they are more elegant, but I also think it's more feminine to have it down.

On the other hand, I'm really nervous about curls staying in all night if I have it half down and I feel a lot of half up styles end up looking really fake and 'promish' - no offense to anyone just not my style. God forbid it's really windy or rainy I don't want it to get frizzy or fall flat.

What is everyone doing?

definitely updo

if i kept it down, my hair would be terrible at the end of the night. NOTHING stays in my hair bc it's thin so i kinda have to keep it up!

Re: Ah... the age old question

I was debating on all up or half up and then I went in for my preview appt to try on my dress when it came in and it all became very clear that my hair should be all up.....I think your dress may play a roll in how it should be....

I'm doing half up provided the weather will work for my hair that day. I'm doing another trial to find an updo I like in the event that my hair won't cooperate.

I like hair down or half down. I think it's much more feminine.

I was thinking half up and half down for myself to look more feminine and more romantic since my dress is very romantic looking.

I am going with an updo because I am afraid if I wear it down my curls wont hold all day. Also, if I happen to get married on a humid day, my hair would be a total disaster if I left it down!

WHen I finally get a trial I want her to try both on me but I would want the half up style to be done second so I can leave it in all day and see how it holds up. Would that be possible after her doing an updo though or would it be all messed up since it was already sprayed to be up? I am too cheap to schedule two different ones lol

I'm doing half up...all up would probably work better with my headpiece, but I just wouldn't be me without my big hair down. I'm compromising with half up so it doesn't get messy. FH wouldn't like it all up anyways, it wouldn't be me.

I switch up my hair so one or the other wouldn't really be unlike me. I showed FH my favorite half up and favorite up styles and he goes, 'I don't know, both are nice. Whatever.'

so he's no help lol.

I always wear my hair down and FH loves my hair down.

I would really like to wear an updo for the wedding...but I know he LOVES my hair down. Half up is the way to go for me.

ah I keep going through the same question. . I like my hair up but also really like it down. . i think my hair is one of my best features so I don't know what to do. . but I think I look awful in curls either way. . so have to figure something that looks like a style but no curls

I did the same thing to myself and ultimately went with an all updo.

I love the long look with curls however I knew my hair would never have held all the curls all day even with extensions. I knew I would be mad at myself if I pretended that it would hold all night and it didn't.

I told myself I would decide that morning depending on weather and to be honest -- it was 70, sunny and not a drop of humidity in the air and I still went all up.
