Soo... if I do some waxing a week before the wedding, is that ok? Would any redness or irritaion go away by then? We are going to a spa for my BP this saturday and I was thinking of doing some facial hair, and bikini.... is this a bad idea so close to the wedding, I have never done it before.

i would say a week before is plenty of time for any redness to go away. but if you are having a facial, i would not have any waxing done on your face

i am doing waxing on Satruday the 27th. A brazilian bikini wax at that. For the first time. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lauren - take 2 advil within an hour of the appt to dull any pain!!!
I went and got waxed the other weekend - you'll be red (I wasn't sore) for about 24 hours, but I took a hot shower when I got home to rinse any excess wax off and my legs weren't as red when I got out, but my bikini was for a day.
