AHH getting nervous!!

ok so I am getting married REALLY soon and I am getting SOOOOOOOOO nervous!!!!!! I am in need of much support here ladies!!


I am nervous about our first dance because we took lessons and we have the whole thing choreographed- but I am still so afraid of messing up and being embarrassed

I am also nervous that my curls will start coming loose because I am getting my hair done very early. I just want everything to remain perfect.

I am also nervous that with 120 people crowding around me, I will end up saying something stupid at some point. I get so nervous when I am the center of attention in a big crowd!!

dave & i had a dance all set to go - it was only about 30 seconds....we messed it up BIG TIME and ya know what - NO ONE CARED!!!!!!

We got a great laugh out of when he elbowed me in the head and that was that.

I know telling you to relax isn't going to work, but now may be the time to head to the doc and talk about this anxiety issue so that you can get some meds....if you are seriously freaking out...

Thanks for the advice- but personally I think my anxiety is normal. I wouldn't take meds for being a little anxious before my wedding. I'm turning to you ladies because I know there are 100s of people on here who can sympathize..... but otherwise I am able to manage my stress med-free.

This is def normal! Plus even if you mess up your choreographed dance, only you and FH know the dance routine! I'm sure no one will notice! Besides, I'm sure everyone will be too busy talking about the girl who caught the bo-k and slipped out of her shirt and not wearing any underwear!

Things are going to go wrong but nothing is going to ruin your day!!!!!

honestly, no one is going to notice or care if anything goes wrong (i mean wrong in the eyes of the bride!)

#1 - we did not choreograph or take lessons for a dance. we both hate dancing, esp slow dancing, and just did our newlywed sway. yes, we were a little shy and embarrased, but no one cared!! they just like watching the couple dance. if you mess up a step or 2 or 5 or 10, NO ONE WILL NOTICE. it's ok to relax now.

#2 - the bride never says anything stupid!! the BM or MOH might during the speech, then everyone laughs it off. as bride, you will never say the wrong thing

#3 - you hair will look great all night long. and if it comes a little loose, no one will care or notice, i promise!! just enjoy the day and stop worrying about the little things. it will all be OK!!!

Hmm, I made that post this morning. Between then and now I made a whole NEW list of things I am nervous about!!! but it's all little things that only I will notice or care about- and I just have one wedding and this is it so I'm just going to enjoy my day

you will be too busy the day of to be nervous
take it easy from now till then or you'll break out
do u have any wedding tasks that need to get done still?
or are u set to go?
