If you like the spa idea, what about making them baskets full of spa goodies and a gift certificate for a massage or something? Or you can pay for them to get their hair or makeup or nails done? Or even a pin or something for their hair the day of?
I belong to Massage Envy which is a massage chain. They are all over the place, I even saw one in Florida and I get some really good massages. You could prolly google the locations and see if they are located near all your BM's and then get them gift cards?
You could also get them WaySpa gift certificates (wayspa.com). They can be used at lots of different spas all over the place, and you can get a list of participating spas in their area that they can go to. I've given that as Christmas gifts before.

Thirty-one has really cute stuff. I actually just ordered the pencil case, but it looks just like a make up bag and had them put 'Bridesmaid' on it. Maybe a pretty frame? Coach wristlet? You can get those pretty cheap from the outlets!
