ok so fh and i have been planning on moving at the end of june....for 2 reasons. 1. bc the rents have been dropping like crazy in manhattan and we think we can find something nicer for the same price or something similar for less.....and 2. bc we have wanted a puppy for awhile now and our landlord wont let us have one.

so fh just called the landlord to see if he would lower our rent and let us get a dog.....I was like omg he will never go for it....but he seems to be agreeable!!!! He just wants some more info on like what kinda dog we'd get etc. I think he knows he will lose us if he doesnt give in bc of how the market is!

i am so excited and really hope it works out.....it would be great not to have to worry about apt hunting and moving!!

Update: YAY!! So FH just talked to the landlord again and got him to take a little more off the rent....so it ended up being a couple hundred dollars off...and the best part... We can def get a dog!!! He is putting it in the lease and sending it over!! Woooo hooo! I am so excited. Now we don't have to worry about moving until after the wedding...huge relief

oh too bad! I was thinking of this on my way home yesterday.
My friends husband brought home an 8½ week old pitbull pup.. she is ADORABLE! but they have a 4yr old, 2yr old and one on the way, and right now they're living at her mothers house because their house is being re-done. so... nows not the best time for a puppy so she's looking for a new home. I want her soooo bad, but my parents said no and FHs parents said no and we don't have a place together yet... so.. I was going to ask you. but you said you want a pug.
if you change your mind let me know.
