ahh, table arrangements!!!!!!

I never realized how difficult it is to make table arrangements until today. Why is it that I can't properly place these last three people? I'm actually trying to cut down the number of tables I need because I'm trying to save some $$$ on CPs. AHHHH!!! Any of you girls feeling the same way?

It was the worst part of wedding planning for us. By Far! Fights with the in laws, my parents...terrible terrble terrible!

I'm having probs w/family members 'putting in their requests' and my invitations haven't even gone out yet!!

I'm panicking over this because I can only have 16 tables, max, because that's all the CPs we have. Well, 15 technically, but we actually have one set that's ours personally, which worst case scenario we'll put on my parent's table so they can take it home for us.

So that means we have a max allowance for 160 seats, 10/table...if we have less than that come, we'll be in good shape, but if we're hovering around that number for some ungodly reason, like all our OOT actually come! ...then we're in trouble. I'll probably just break families between two tables, and I REALLY do not care if I do that. And I would highly recommend to anyone stressing over this, to not care as well. For the 20 minutes that most people are actually sitting down eating and not up dancing, mingling, etc...they can deal, you know?

I hate them too... we need to have like 5 tables of 12 and we're only allowed to have 3!

It's these THREE PEOPLE: one of the GM and one of FH's former cello teachers plus husband. It will be easy to sit the latter two if my former violin teacher ends up giving a late RSVP (she's 84, and I left a message yesterday). . .but we can have 10-14 people at a table. Thankfully, Mom and FMIL sat the families (although I'm stuck tweaking FMIL's tables because some people on her side replied NO), so at least we can go from there.

I'm also dreading the placement of certain tables. . .which tables to put where. Oy vey!!!

Can you do tables of 12? I thought the max was 10 per table? I would LOVE to have tables of 12 instead!

Ask your RH every place is different.

Our tables are 8 - 12 people at each, and we really do run the gamut. I only bought 15 CPs (I purchased the vases for ours) so I had to make sure there's no more than 15 tables.

As it turns out, there's only 12!!!! Some tables have 10 some 8, some 12, and one has 7.

My dad just can't stomach putting more than he has to at the table with his brother that he can't stand.... Talk about your drama! (I didn't even want to invite him... now my instructions are to just bury him in the corner...)
